It was walking distance to shops and restaurants. The room was nice and clean and the beds were really comfortable and we were given a complimentary shuttle to the train station. Andrew was great to communicate with because our flight was delayed by over 6 hours so the office was closed when we arrived.

We stayed at this motel for one night and we found our stay comfortable, the staff was super friendly, the facilities were great and the location perfect for us (we had to take an early morning train and this was a 4 min drive and 15 mins on foot to the station). The motel provided a free drop off to the railway station so really happy about that (as we had intended to walk down). It also wasn’t far from the botanical gardens, riverside market and the highlight for my family was kayaking down the Avon. We had a good time!!

The location for shows at the Canterbury arena is perfect! Also so close to Tower Junction so that’s even more helpful. The rooms are a great size and warm up so quickly especially in the chilly winter. Also it’s really easy to find! Great parking so that your off the road.

The motel was within 10 minute walk from the station and conveniently situated not from shops and somewhere to eat. Tea coffee and milk was ready on hand. The owners were very accommodating with regards to our late check-in and early check-out.

We chose this because of the close proximity to the train station. We had to check in for our train at 6:30 am. The motel provided us with a shuttle, so nice when it’s still dark out! The room was comfortable and clean, had a kitchenette, our beds were comfy and warm. There are lots of restaurants nearby, we had a great dinner just a few blocks away. It’s also walking distance to the Botanical Gardens, a beautiful place!

Have stayed here before on our last trip to NZ. This time we were only here for 6 hours as our plane arrived late & we were catching the Tranzalpine train at 9.15am. The motel provides a shuttle service to the station so we had to be ready to leave by 7.20am. We had a 2 bed room. It was comfortable & clean.

Bed was very comfortable, room was spacious and clean. Curtains blocked out all the light. There was parking available. I'm looking forward to my next stay once I'm back from overseas.

I’ve never stayed in such a tiny but perfectly formed room (never been to Tokyo!) - it had absolutely everything you needed for a night or two just compacted into a very efficient use of space. Really clean. Without doubt the best shower I’ve had in weeks whilst on our trip. It’s really cleverly designed, loads of storage under the bed, clever control panels in the wall, other places to store and hang things. The bed was comfy and the breakfast (hot and cold buffet) was delicious. Easy check out - handed in the keys - and the whole experience was great, efficient and economical. Highly recommended for a quick visit.
